Anybody out there that used to be a bit of a Bowlers head - whatya up to nowdays? Timeless is okay but nothing compares to Bowlers!!!

Have to say Bowlers didnt really do it for me, much prefer small friendly clubs (lol waiting for avalanche of hate mail from Bowlers fans).

But each to there own, and once again hello!

Heres somat bad about it....when I went in the early 90's I was in a reet bad mood all night cos I coudn't even get a feckin beer!

Never went again!

Plus it was full of kids, although I wasn't that old meself really!

Only started goin to Bowlers in 1999, but i loved it!! I was a massive techno head then so i was ALWAYS in the NORTH arena bouncing around to the likes of Producer, Scorpio and Jay Prescott!! Infact im even on a couple of Bowlers flyers, rockin in the dodgems!! :rofl: :head: :head:

LOL! Yeah, also the bloody foyer was jam packed full of peeps lyin down etc, it was like a game of sleeping lions at the end of the night!!! :S :D

i remember gettin caught NYE 2001 jumpin the queue for the dodgems but i was that off me face the guy let me off on the proviso that my mate drove it and not me lol :confused: :fekked: :fekked: :cops:

and wasnt it amazin that as soon as u stepped an inch out of one room you couldnt hear the music behind you only in front of ya - like an invisible sound barrier - if u get wot i mean :$

aye top club, the life nights were mint..not sure about the other nights.

i used to live close by too rj, but that was when i was a wee nipper..a bit young for clubbing..across the road from the bp garage..and went to the primary school there as well.

Aye, it was like that! Pretty mad really!! Top Club that was! I heard rumors a while back that Andy 'Vortex' was gonna be doin a night there, but nowts come of it, so i reckon the peeps at the lesuire complex have said a huge big fat no to it! :( Booooooo!!!

Sayin that, i dont reckon i would last all night in the Techno room like i used to!! :S :S
