Looking after my 12 inches

That got your attention.

As we all know, it's important to keep our 12" ' s in good nick, as getting hold of tunes in crisp picture covers is getting harder and harder.

Does anyone know where to get hold of large quantities of 12 singles, clear plastic covers?

Not the hard plastic ones that HTFR sell, they tend to be a bit too big for the record, and scuff your record boxeS, more the really smooth thin plastic ones that do not bulk up your boxes too much.

Any advice, gratefully recieved.

i just done a search on google for "plastic record sleeves" they all look like american companies as far as i could see but u might be able to find some1 on there that has wot ur looking for

or the polythenes i usually get the 400g

but i've just got some 250g (thinner) but there both pretty good

all my nice pic covers are now protected

I tend to use them thick white card sleeves for my tunes (like the ones you get in VinylExcange) as the are well thick and you can just about fit a 'normal' pic sleeve record in. Only the ones which are already in a chunky sleeve cause troubles - but for them I use them plazzy ones which have that 'crimped' edge on 'em. As for where to buy 'em these days, I dunno. Vinyl Excange used to, not sure anymore.....

Well if you sold me the plastic covers, it would be silly keeping your pic sleeves, they might get scuffed or summat,.....best give em to me,...I'll treat em right.
