Greetings all, long time OSA member (2002) but recently revived my account cos i know you guys can help.
When I was 16 i had a tape which simply said ' carl cox 1992' on it.
I bloody loved that tape and played it to death. Over the years the mc's lyrics have stayed in my head and i can still recite much of it.
Heres what i know/ remember:
From other sets on youtube/ mixcloud and what carl had in his record box i reckon it was December 92, maybe jan 93
The last track on side a was prodigy, everybody in the place i think
There was a guest mc that came on the mic and amongst other things, sang the lyrics to grandmaster flash white lines over johnny L, hurt you so. Im sure his last word is 007 as he hands over to another mc. Mc 007?
There might have been a reference to 'total kaos' but that might be a red herring.
As i say, ive trawled through various repositories trying to find it and although a lot of december 92 sets have similar tracks ( he was a busy boy back then) i havent found the right one.
