[QUOTE="Northern Star, post: 806638, member: 2440"] Well where do i begin :hubba: Set off about half 7 Fri morning to land in Helston about 1ish in the afternoon. The weather wasnt the best but it did stop raining whilst we pitched the tents up and stayed dry for the rest of the evening more or less  Met up with Helen and Dave when we got there which was lovely. Great to finally see u both  Had a lovely spot campin all the crew in the same spot tucked up in a nicely sheltered corner - felt really quite cosy lol :P Once we pitched and got sorted me and alex got ready to explor and we were not disappointed - What a fabulous venue. Only a short walk down to the place from the tent - everything was compact and really quaint... three main rooms with the bar area upstairs - nice long room with seating area as you walked in, then the bunker below with the open barn courtyard just opposite. In the centre of all the madness was a food bar area - clean toilets with plenty of loo roll and showering facilities. Big campfire too which was ace to chill in front of :luv: Alex played the bar Fri avo warming up with some lovely downtempo beasties and the sound system was great, very bassy and warming. Was great to see kiddies and dogs just running around enjoying themselves as much as the big kids hehe ;) Adam W played in the bar a little later on and dropped some ace tunes as well  everyone had a good old dance for most of the afternoon and evening until Alex decided it would be a really good idea to be the biggest kid on camp and in a drunken stated proceeded to jump on the bouy swing hanging from a tree and cracked his ankle so he couldnt walk :axe: We all ended up back at the tent for a chin wag and more drinkies then fell asleep only to be woken at 6 am in the morning by ben and scott having a two hour long convo about bean burgers  Think most of us felt a little worse for ware on the Sat morning but that didnt stop us from cooking up breakfat sausages and eggs etc well needed before limping (alex) back down to the complex for another mooch. Had a chill in front of the fire and there was some lovey slow nu soul sounding stuff booming from the DIY sound system. Gotta say that system was amazing. We could hear it for miles down the road when we took a walk to tesco lol :P Sat night was great fun tho, went and had a listen to benny and funky t doing their thing in the bar then it was my turn - i really enjoyed playing a bit of progressive house in the bunker once id finally got my head round the allen n heath mixer and the tunes sounded great on a big system hehe ;) we all the trotted over to the bar area where Butty was banging out the classics had a bit of a boogie with Vee who was a superstar  Thanks for the loan of ur pendant babes  We came back in a little later on to hear Chris belting out some wikked tunes - the 'Nobody likes' tune was the one that did it for me blew me away did that nice one  Then Alex took over after Chris - As always played a blinder and i was absolutely gobsmacked at the mix out of sasha carassi into beltram energy falsh - it went of for what seemed like hours lol! awesome! Everyone seemed to have a good dance happy smiling faces everywhere you looked all night :spin: When Al finished his set we popped back up to the tent to put the records away - had a few more drinkies before hopping back down the courtyard ;) The minute we walked out of the toilet we heard Don Carlos - Alone coming in and promplty legged it round the corner to squeeze into a massively packed barn and went mental - that was the moment of the whole wk end for me and Alex very special  and i might have known our Harri was in there too cus he found us bopping away and came over and gave us a great big hug - loving it as much as we were - just like the old dayz  Alexs alnkle gave in not long after so we hobbled back to the tent and chilled out. We had a decent kip lol but again early morning alarm calls from next doors tent to the sound of Scott snoring so loudly he would have out done the DIY sound system  pure comedy :P We left Sunday afternoon just before Chris and Adam played there sets which i was sorry to miss but i know they rocked it ;) and well in Ads for letting Tils play the last tune and what a tune it was too  We went on a little road trip thereafter to St Ives, Lizard and Crantock before coming back to the North having had a top top time all round. Big thanks and respect to Helen and Dave for inviting us to come and play and be involved in a really fantastic event  Everything was just perfect and it couldnt have been better organised.
