I'd have rung him first (while his phone number is in the listing) and asked him what sort of tunes are in the collection, as there's not many quality labels there to my eyes:|

At least you can walk away from the deal if it's not up to much, as it's cash on collection:thumbsup:

 Nukleuz is about as bad as it gets for me. I've bought a couple of cheap ones in record bins taking a gamble and they've definitely not paid off.

36 labels mentioned, maybe 4 or 5 good labels (at a push), but then you've gotta hope you get the good ones on those labels. Got a lot of stuff on many of these labels in my shit pile and very few in with my good stuff. Still it's different strokes for different folks:thumbsup:

Best of luck with the collection. I love buying collections and simply going through them picking out tracks you know and love but did not know what they were. Last collection I went into negotiations with I lost out on as a dealer in Nottingham got involved and paid much more than I was prepared to....hope he catches a cold on it as I realy wanted it being old hardcore but truely underground with very few anthems but lots of realy rare records.

Problem with buying collections generally is that there is alot of shite which you need to push out quickly. Last big clear out got me £36 for 250 records but still made on that. Best one ive ever had was £110 for about 250 mint (I mean mint too) hardcore records including some rare bits one on its own worth £110! I have not sold a single record from that collection due to their condition being that good.

Looking from the description I would have been qute cautious as people tend to have loads of mid/late 90's with a couple of early ones thrown in to make the description sound better. On the flip side if it is genuine and has not been gone through then you might have a bit of a gem collection

I think your mad you havent gone round and had a look first, £300 not to have a clue is OTT,
I've got about a 1000 records in my garage which could be easily described as that which I'd snap your hand off for £300 as I know there all worthless in money terms. certainly some good tracks but no value whatsoever

Well, they have come and i hit the jackpot, well gone through half today and was well impressed.Gone through all the hardcore which was from 93-95 and theres some right gems.At least 20% is trance from 95-2000 but i like that era and by all acounts its lookin nice.Have found a few shite 1ns but ill get rid at booty when im there next.Wasnt bothered about the oldskool anthemz style as i got a good few whack anyway, but there is alot of doubles to go_Overall im happy as i got sommat diff to play as i think i played most of the stuff i got.Payed £250 overall so it was a very good deal.

p.s If any1 is into oldskool gabba giz a bell, theres about 100 records to shift,95-98.:)
