So what does everyone reck to Madonna's lastest pop offering? I think its jiz, if i am honest i think she should call it a day. After Ray of Light i think it all went pants, average M.O.R pop shite. And to sample ABBA, tut tut. Apparantly its the second only ever record to have been granted a sample, she wrote a letter herself asking for it.

My fave madge track is easily 'Get into the grove'. Incidently, does anyone remember the rather bizarre unreleased Sonic Youth cover of this?

:)

P.s she looks like a tranny anyhew.

I think if she can do it (and she can) why the fuck not???? I don't like her music, but she does very well out of it thankyou very much, do you not think?
She is an inspiration to people, she is at the top of her field. She is in pop, but you can't not respect her. She has played the system to her advantage and come up smelling of roses. Plus, I like her more now, because her views on things are bang on imo.

I think she has done well over the years, she wasnt manufactured and seems to have worked hard and refused to go away over the years, and thats quite a lot of determination.

....saying that though, since william orbit gave her the new house/dance bug, when I heard this one I thought it was Kylie Minogue or somebody lol. Very similar genre and sound in my opinion. Not a dire track, but not as individualistic as some of her previous stuff.

The sample is not badly done but thats not her work as usual and then it goes horribly wrong when the old crooner starts singing pointless bilge over it. All in all it sounds like an outdated post funky house b-side side with a misplaced madonna accapella tagged on to create an un-inspired part of her bland ambition tour (geddit hehe).

I've not heard a proper vocal of it, quite like the dubby version though. Never really been Madonher tunes tbh. She's always had a nack of hooking up with decent producers though, all the way from Jellybean to this current batch with Rhythm Digitale.

Really? This new one is produced by LRD bloke? Oh, i feel a little dissapointed. Does anyone know of any of the other names LRD uses btw? Was having a chat with someone the other day and we did'nt know.

Yeah she is shifting the units, but what manner of **** (lol) is buying them? The die-hard Madge fans that made Wheels on the Friggin Bus chart no doubt.

I just think when you are not even realeasing music close to your finest hour, then its time to give up and do so gracefully. I am thinking Rolling Stones- God mick please put all that loose skin and razor sharp bone combo away. And Jon Bon, really. I mean all that frizzy root lift perm, Spandex trew's and tassly jacket- wtf? I am suspicious that their heart is not in it, and they really are laughing all the way to the bank ( Just one more feck off huuge stadium tour eh? Milk a hundred quid a ticket from our devoted fans, squeeze a bit more from the overpriced merch- kerching!).

And then there is of course her rather bizzare stance on fox hunting. Ahh yes our Queen of pop can be vocal when she is in 'daaahn wiv the kids right on' mode, but ask her about her views on Gay rights in correlation to her beloved Kabbalah and she is more tight lipped that Lesley Ash after her trout pout incident.

Imo Madonna is nothing without the many great producers that have helped her out. She is little more than a more talented steps et al. Don't get me wrong, she has attitude, and feck me the biggest bucket of abition i have ver seen. But thats it, she can't stand up there with the legends imo and she does very little herself.

And don't get me started on Bono. Mate, for a starters its NEVER okay to wear sungigs indoors.

:)
