I view magpies on a cumulative pricipal - if I see one, bad things are gonna happen but if I see a second single one I count that as seeing 2!

If you salute a magpie isnt that supposed to cancel out what happens ?
ie.
1 for sorrow
2 for joy
3 for a girl
4 for a boy
so if theres 1 maggy and you salute it, there will be no bother
If theres 2 and you salute it youll be in shit
3 salute it and youll get a boy
4 salute it and youll get a girl

Gotta salute the fella. If its on its own it usually means its partner has died and you will have bad luck too (they have the same partner for life and never stray - monognomous thats the word, sort of). :$
