Kin ell you'll be telling me next I cant throw salt over my left shoulder when I spill some at the dinner table on a sunday afternoon whilst eating sunday roast.

Im surprised you can force a sunday roast down your neck on a sunday as it is

thats the funniest thing iv heard in agesI was fuckin gutted at the time like, I only found out the dog had eaten it about 5 yrs later, my mum used to tell me that it had flowen away, and if a magpie came near the house or sat in the garden, my mum used to say that it was maggie comming to visit us
Yup, it also got into my right foot as well when i found out and persisted in making it connect rather viciously with the dog a few times !
I thought the saying was seen by 1 seen by 2 brings good luck to all of you?? Thats why when i see a magpie i always get someone to take a look an'all! :S
But if im on mi own ill say in my head Good morning (afternoon, evening) Mr magpie what a fine fella you are?? Thats wot ive always done to take the bad luck away.

magpies are always hanging around my workplace, and where i work its pretty f**ked up so must be true
