Parksy playing some squelchy remix of 'Strings Of Life' etc, Mani playing Happy Mondays & Stakker Humanoid (nice short set<img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite6" alt=":cool:" title="Cool :cool:" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":cool:" /> ) and a couple of other DJ's with short funky sets including Mr Scruff <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite8" alt=":D" title="Big grin :D" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":D" /> .</p><p></p><p>A bit of Metal from Nine Black Alps, a bit of folk music from Stephen Fretwell, then Badly Drawn boy entertained us with his remake of Madonna's 'Like A Virgin' in his trio of songs<img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/classics/thumbsup.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":thumbsup:" title="thumbs up :thumbsup:" data-shortname=":thumbsup:" /> </p><p></p><p>Next up (I think) was Elbow - not really my cup of tea but an ok set. Then Johnny Marr<img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite6" alt=":cool:" title="Cool :cool:" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":cool:" /> Fercking brilliant set started with a cracking song and I wish I knew what it was, later brought on Andy Rourke and performed 'How Soon Is Now' and everybody in the audience sang along<img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite6" alt=":cool:" title="Cool :cool:" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":cool:" /> <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite8" alt=":D" title="Big grin :D" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":D" /> <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite6" alt=":cool:" title="Cool :cool:" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":cool:" /> </p><p></p><p>Next up The Doves who really surprised me with a brilliant set of 5(ish) tracks, brought on Badly Drawn Boy for a song, then brought on Marr and Bernard Sumner for a track, the Marr stayed on for another track.
