I know some of you will no doubt enjoy seeing an MC with a Dj but personally I can't stand them as I see them as getting in the way of the music, contreversial maybe but thats my humble opinion.......

Now on the flyer for the Life reunion MC Breeze is down to be on in the main room, does anyone know if he will be on for the majority of the night os just with Ben?? cos if he is going to be there most of the night Im considering not going!!!!!!

Sorry if I upset any MC fans out there:confused:

mmm i don't mind them on the night but not into listening to them on tapes/cd's later on..

it'd be nice if promoters could just record the output of the decks and not the mic as well (if thats possible?). or do both and let the punters choose..

Got it in 1 there GRAD m8, on the night you r well up 4 it but afterwards when u r not ahem in a reet 2 n 8 you don't really appreciate the dulcid tones of say MC Domino giving it big licks of

shaking your bits
making some f**king noise
getting down
whistling wiv every breath

etc etc

personally my maximes 44 cd was spoiled by Mr Domino maybe the producers (?) should give him his own track that is omitted when they burn the media.

Just don't get anything off t

You damn well are going young man !!! To see us lot if nothing else :D If I have to come over there & drag you to the club by the hair you're coming !! lol ;);)

The thing is, it's a Life reunion & there always used to be MC's at Life so that's probab;y why there's MC's on the night - IMO, if you're gonna hava reunion then it does need ot be like it was originally otherwise it's not a reunion (am I making sence). If you change the format people will have expectations of how it's gonna be & if it's diff then people will be disappointed.

Please come down there babes - I wanna see you!! :luv:

Only a few of the mc's really do it and personally breeze is pants

I really like Breeze actually - he doesn't go on too much & at least he's got summat proper to say (although admittedly I've not seen him for years). and at the end of the day he can always be taken off if people think it's that bad - but on the other hand if the night is lacking in something then we can't just call him up & ask him to come over

Gard, yes they can record the night without the MC's - summat to do with how they puld the minidisc into the mainframe (oo-er) I only know this cos I remember watchin Ben put all the stuff together at one of the GT nights & my CD didn't have the MC's on but they were there on the night.

MC Spider aaaahhhhhh

Top bloke

He use to do some MCing for us on Power FM, he was also very good friends with Tim Utar

The best thing I can remeber about Spider was, he could never handle his :tonksi: very well, he use to turn a funny shade of purple after 1 or 2..... Then Nick Camaro and I used to rip the shit out of and tell him that everyone was laughing at his atempts to MC at Technique in Leeds

HAPPY DAYS !!!!!!:D :D :D

MC Spider........ Top Bloke, does he still have them funky blond dreads Al m8

"Whoo hooo, Bowlers crew this ones for you",

"Here come s the Buzz, here comes the b-b-b-b-buzz"

"Hey, yo, turn it up a little louder, I wanna feel the bass in mi trouser!"

And lets not forget the obligitory "Will the person in the A reg pink escort with fluffy dice please move it, its causing nightmares". Also, "Craig in tha house, your mum sez yer suppers ready and if yer not home in 15 mins youre in big trouble" Sorry, I seem to be digressing into school disco mc jargon :) :).

Personally, I dont rate MC's either. Some poeple love em and I wouldnt want the poor guy to get the sack or anything...........but if there are going to be tapes perhaps without or edited down would be an option.......

See ya,

Sirius.

(Mc Breeze is the old skool Zone MC int he? Sure he features on a old 91 Zone tape............)
