How bad a name did the media give to all the old skoolers, back in the day

Have just seen a cut out from a local rag (cheers Leaky ) which referred to the Phenomenon E party in Barnoldswick 1990 , well the party didn't get going coz the rozzers stepped in

The mill used was on the side of the canal and one copper had a heart attack, nothing to do with any ravers, just getting on a bit and wasn't fit enough to cope..

Now I'm as sorry as the next man to hear anyone's lost their life, wish that on no-one (not even them!), but did the headline have to read...

"ACID RIOT PC DIES IN STATION SIEGE

a couple of hundred were outside the station making some niose, but nothing worse. The copper that died wasn't even at the station!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Daily Mirror, no wonder our scene was stolen from us

Yeah well i used to go out with flash :$ tall chap with blond hair .... thats when i used to knock about with carol quite a bit and adele last i heard of flash he was in the states but i did see him funnily enough...he seemed to be doin ok

not heard from pete in ages id love to see him again...he did register on here many moons ago with the location london so i guess thats where he ended up

I was at that one, trippin the light fantastic, eventually lost all my mates and was found shaking like a shitting dog in a garden and was rescued by fellow ravers who looked after me

It was the dogs chasing me all got too much:|

I remember a brick going through station window and knew who threw it:|

I also remember a pick up truck with the curly haired organiser shouting come on theres loads of usss lets ave it:| then fighting began I shat me [pants and hid in the mentioned garden.....pmsl

I bloody hate the tabloid press!
It gives me as a journalist a bad name- im NEVER gonna work for one of those rags!!!
Its the editors that do it,
they're supposed to take an un-biased approached-journo's, but always jump on a bandwagon!
