Media Player is eating my CPU

I sorted out the last problem with it by a simple re-install, but I've noticed that even when Media Player is just sitting there doing nothing, it's using around 40-60% of my CPU. Does anyone know why?

Do what I told you to do in the last media player thread you put up, or at least try it.

or try doing a media player update or removing it completely and then downloading it again off the windows update site
