Why do men love big telly's so bloody much. I don't get why you have to have something 40" to stare at, i would be happy with a portable me.

Same with speakers, the bigger the better. Even if they let out the same sound you want them friggin huge.

And remotes, large selection of remotes right next to you, or on your lap. Like you will loose all power if they are anywhere but in your direct possesion.

:)

I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT U MEAN????

Well, men do have a preoccupation with size....so it seems natural really. Just nod and smile. Although...I wouldn't say no to a nice plasma hanging on the wall....

But men go potty for them...there was even a simpsons where homer was going bezerk for one. My dada does, my step dad has a massive one hung on the wall at my mums house lolol fk knows

LOL

32" Widescreen for me, but rarely watch it, I tend to download any progs that catch my interest, and have saved loads each month by binning ntl and getting freeview (that I hardly watch either!)

What bugs me about liking equipment/gadgets and suchlike, when you go to Ikea and you see their room layouts, they look amazing and ever so space-saving, yet they don't take into account folks who have mahooosive speakers, tellies and loads of hi-fi gear with 6 surround speakers etc, instead the Ikea rooms have 14" TV/Video/DVD combo and a Micro Hifi with tiny tiny speakers, no wonder they save loads of space lol

I'm gonna get rid of my telly soon and just get a projector instead, pull down screen that'd be ace, and a great space saver too, as when you're not watching it, up it goes :D

It's because our imaginations aren't as vivid, so we need to immerse ourselves in the visuals of a big set

What's the ... stuff?

I'd mainly use if for films, as telly choices these days are piss poor and I don't dig footy at all...
