Was he the bald little fella in Eastern Bloc never seemed to smile much??:(

LOL

whoever that bald bloke was he was well moody.

i was about 15 years old when i used to go in there and i hated going to the counter, as he always looked like he didnt want to serve me.

once i was lookin thru the bargain section and he was lookin over and chucklin with the other bloke. he came over and put a track in the bargain section, so naturally i went over to see what it was. i couldnt believe my eyes - a brand new copy of TNT - Piano Please, original pressing. So i bagged the fucker for 99p and went home on the train that day chuffed to bits with my selection.

Got home and was disappointed to find that it was a mis pressing of some reggae tune. :ba:

I had been well and truly done over by the moody bloke! :moonie:

Wicked set by the way, cheers

Fond memories of shopping in Eastern Bloc i used to travel up from Wolves just to do so. I wonder what happened to the guys that worked in there, Mike was indeed moody and used to try and sell you crap and when you didnt like what he was playing to you he used to give you a look of total disgust.

The best person in there to serve you was Jon E Blocs girlfriend pretty sure her name was Elaine always used to sort me out with top tunes. She came down to a Love Revolution night for Snobs back in 92 when Jon was playing and shared her tin of reefers with me.:mexican:

4 ??? "what that means were gonna put the music up here for free"

does it start off like this

"it's a free concert from now on..that doesn't mean that anything goes, what that means is, we're gonna put the music up here for free" ??

if so, i've got it and can dig it out....
