Mix Tapes?

I am flitting between recording records and mixes on the computer at the moment with a real need to get both sorted out as eventually I want to sell the tapes on. Am I wasting my time in recording mixes from tape to computer? I am told there is plenty of music out there however it seems I have quite a few either unique to my collection or are very rare, just offered £50 for 11 mixes on mp3?

Points are...

I love the mixes, listening on ipod etc so recording them for me seems to make sence.
There are 1000's of mixes out there somewhere (I dont belong to any sites which give out mixes other than OSA and Deep House)
Takes 1.5 hours approx per tape which when totalled up is loads of time.

Also I would love to post the mixes up so they can be accessed by you good people however I dont want to pay for hosting, im useless with computers and cant be bothered with hassle, any suggestions?

hi fella

i work from home most days of the week and rip my tapes then.. happy to do them for you, put them on mediafire which is free up to 50gigs (max 4 accounts per person) and return the tapes to you so you have them to sell.... just shout if you want, no worries if not... i am sure there are a few folk on here who rip tapes for other people so it seems to be a trust worthy method!

I also work from home approx 30% of the time. I have a media fire account so will dust that off and get some links up if wanted.

Ill get burning and see if they are wanted otherwise might get back to the records.
