Mixes that Remind you of certain DJs

Hi all,

What mixes remind you of a certain DJ?

I suppose a mix that that DJ was known for, and on the night you really hoped they would do that mix. Somethinmg that made the back of your neck tingle and gave you goosebumps.

Mine are:

Jay Wearden with Techno Trance and the Octagon Man -going from 33 to 45. Also when Jay did "Jam the Dance" with an acapella that started of "Let me tell you about the birds and the bees..." Forgot what its called!
Sashas Techno Trance and Sinead O'Connor.
Wellys Young MC and The Tape.
Tony Ross and MANIC and REM.
Dave Pullens Commando Tubular Bells and Black Box Everybody Everybody.

I could go on and on!

Whats everyones elses?

Cano-Anthemtsatic the one with d-stressed and mad angels, will always expect to hear mad angels coming out of that now. Them tunes seem to have been made for mixing each other

butty bought a collection from dahhn sarf years ago, prolly 6 years ago and manic / rem were both in the collection, and butty said the fella told him about that particular mix... so its obviously been copied by others Tony

Never Heard in a club

Hi Tony,

To be honest I never heard it in a club, but on a tape. (I think we got it of DJ Stubby)

I think it must have been around 92/93?

Was a great tape anyway but that mix has always stuck in my mind.
