Lololol, it was like Vinyl Exchange in there tonight mate :thumbsup: Tunes all over the floor and everything !!!!

Top "official" tuneage too !!! RFTR "Extrasyn" took my fukkin head clean off :thumbsup: Even had a 7" Bangles single in the DJ box tonight, hehehehe

Top marks to all involved in this one, cause the tuneage left last months standing. I got a sneaking suspicion that we're gonna see a lot more of DJ Recca ;)

Only thing missing was the numbers from OSA. IMO enjoying some top tuneage is the best, only beaten by enjoying it with all yer mates around ya.

Oh, and according to Mr "Girlie" Flange it was a bit cold in the club. We're gonna take a tartan rug to the next one, to lay over his legs - awwwwww

After a six week build up, there should be pure heads gagging to go.

QUALITY!

Absolute madness!!!

Another quality night filled full of top tunes, top people, crazy antics, and unrivalled atmosphere.

My head fell off on the last set - superb, and it carried on till about 2:15 squeezing classic after classic out before chuck out time. I was rushin more than russian doll.

Ace to meet the geezers again - Tonks, Sweet, Grad, Joker, Butty, Ben, Taff, Alec, Claire & her mate - (Noice)

There was all sorts goin down, loads of people searching for keys on the top shelf, loads of hoovering up on the dancefloor, whisking eggs, diggin, dealing cards, swimmin - you name it, it was appenin.

Ashame the others couldnt make it - you missed a good un.
Pixie you missed your tune - My Friend Sam > Its my Pleasure got played, I was lookin for you on the dancefloor.

Ben did you see anyone bog off with my boingers on their way out, some girl took advantage.

Sweet - how good was our synchronised stompin at the end? Absolutely bang on!

Ended the night completely peaceful and satisfied.

A big thanks to the unforgetable nights crew!!!

well i'll be on the list m8, it's been 2 sunday's after GT that i've regretted not goin and i don't think i can do it again:( :( :( it's proper sickenin' listening to all the madness that went on!!!!

if it was better than the last one, which was better than the 1 b4 that...then i'll see u all there:D :D :D :D

mmm same here...memories not come back yet ( well that part has flange!)...

Sorry guys - got stuck in Brighton where I'd been visiting & couldn't get there in time babes.

Will be there next month tho hopefully.

Well Pixie, you wanted to know if I was worth one......buying a CD that is, if I told you that I played My Friend Sam, would that help you decide?

You missed a really great night though, glad to have kicked things off with a bang and hopefully you might see me play there again some time?

Finally met some peeps from OSA Ben, Butty, Sweet, ViynalAnimal, Dannster, Tonski, Flange a few others I think but can't remember:axe: top marks peeps great gang!

Gotta say Recca mate your set was the dogs bollox mate, I was mightly impressed :cool: ;) Cool to finally meet the real you aswell ! Never did find the imposter !!

Agree with peeps that it was the best GT for tunes and mixing and all that jazz !!

Great to meet some more new peeps, John and Simmo (was it simmo ?) you made me laff !!

Dannster Im still buzzin off our dancing today !!!

Flange - you never fail to make me smile, you can just stand there and grin (you were the tall paul cheesy grin replacement !)

VA - I promise to wear my hat next time !! ;) only if you wear yours tho !!

Tonksi - I loved your cheeky stomp !!

Joker - Big huge ta for getting us there and back in 1 piece ;)

And anyone else big huge smiles and hugs. Im defo defo gonna be there the next one, hope its a bit warmer tho !!!

i remember sweet makin a comment on my dancin, (dunno if it was good or bad lol)
grad bein just as fooked as moi
taff grabbin me as i approached the dance floor.
gt man - i want a copy of your screen saver photo (YOu know what i'm talkin about!!!!)
and anyone else that i may have forgot that was fortunate enuff to meet me on saturday he he

it was just lucky that u didnt see me at the cornmill i was in a right state, impaired vision, slurred words, faultering footsteps....
and that was before me & B-man indulged in anything stronger than port & blue wkd, (hat off to tigger for that wild drink combo)

where were all the usual suspects eh???!

come on u lot GT isnt the same without you!
(well ok, it IS still the same but obviously without you lot lol)

I'll second Sweet - I thought Recca did a fukkin' excellent job :phones: :phones: Massive respect !!! :thumbsup:

I know it's subjective, but for me the tuneage was pitched just right (for the set he was doing). What I mean is when I'm on my way 'up' I like to hear a mixture of classics and a few I'm not familiar with.

Can't do with constant classics cause that gives me nowt to think about. Likewise, I can't do with tons of stuff I don't know cause then there's nowt to stimulate me pillage.

Recca played a nice mixture of both, so one minute I'm rushin like a bastard, and the next I'm in a world of me own trying to work out if I know the tune !!!

I think the icing on the cake is the fact that the guy really takes his job seriously. Not only did he play and excellent set, but when he'd finished he took the time to come and ensure he'd done his job well !!!!

Lololol, before the event I said that it was the warm up DJ's job to bring me up. When I met Recca after his set I was struggling to stand up, could hardly see him and I'd long since lost the ability to speak. A job well done I reckon !!!!! ;) ;)
