Some tw@ts jumped out in front of me one night whilst coming back from Liverpool and if i'd had my old car with it's inferior brakes and tyres, they'd have probably been run over the stupid fookers

on the local itv news 'border-crack-&-deek-about!' they showed another 2 'near' misses from dumfries
personally i think most people in sw scotland have a deathwish, with the town of annan being the worst, you drive down the high street and people just walk out in front of you
altho' if youve ever been to annan or dumfries youll know why they want to top themselves!

Brought a chill down my spine when i saw that. Last year a poor lad went over his handle bars on his way to school down the road from here and his head was run over by a bus. A work colleague was on it and was devestated, as was the whole community. Nearly every parent on the estate thought it was thier kid and the panic was sureal to watch. Total freak accident.
I tell my kids every day to watch the roads and traffic. Amazes me when you see kids fuck around like the one in the video. He was very lucky

I know enough people more northern then me, so i know what it means, but is that an actual program, or just what the local carrot crunchers have nic-named it?

the local news programme at 6pm on itv in the border region is called 'lookaround' but most people up here call it 'border crack & deek about'

That's exactly what I thought, one guy just fooks off across the road as soon as it's happened!
Suppose you don't know how you'd react to seeing something like that until, god forbid, you're in that situation yourself though.I thought he most definately dead though, he's lucky to be alive that's for sure! His mate very nearly does the same thing staright after him as well too
:| There were some kids running out in front of cars near us a while back, thankfully it was on a road where you're forced to drive slowly by cars being parked on either side of the road and having to let people through so people weren't driving too quickly anyway. Bunch of little shits though!
When I was 10 and in primary school a lad in my class and his older brother got hit by a car and killed by messing about near the road. It was on their nieces christening too, so sad.
That lad is very lucky indeed ...had of been me driving that bus i would have slammed into reverse and made sure the chav twat had more than just a headache to worry about...
I know it was a stupid thing to do and I feel for the bus driver but surely that's a tad harsh
