I downloaded a tune off limewire but when i tried to play it it wouldny cos it was an mp4a, what the hell is a mp4a:S

i think its just one of many ways to encode music files, you probably need a codec to play the file.

look for the Sharp Mpeg4 Audio Codec

Think files with this extension might be tied into I-tunes or something (seem to remember trying to get similar ones to play and having problems)

Try downloading I-tunes and play it in that - hope the original isn't protected As when purchased through I-tunes)
