MS ACCESS help please

Anyone good with MS Access VB please?

Specifically background code to attach to a command button on a db data-entry form so that a click of the button opens a blank record for population, or some code that can be inserted at the open form event so that the data entry form defaults to blank record.

These Dutch are canny b'stards, one of them in my team remembered I mentioned MS Access on my CV and I agreed (doh!) to build a knowledge database for this new system we're plumbing in. Only problem is, I've never built one before... I can't get the form to open at the next blank record - it always defaults to the 1st record. Have tried everything I could find online, but my VB knowledge is sh!t.
