I got the 12:48 train to York first. When I got to York all the trains were running late. The Blackpool train to Blackburn was supposed to go at 2:13 and it went at 2:35. On the way it got held up so it made it later and later getting into Blackburn. I finally arrived in Blackburn at 4:45 so I only had a few minutes to look round before tea. A man did pass me that I believed was Blackburn Raver but if it was I'll never know. I did get to have a look around. There was no KFC in Blackburn so I had to have a McDonald's which was near HMV. On the way back I passed a pub next to The Sun Hotel which I forgot the name of and heard a load of Bods inside going OI-OI. I walked on quickly and went back to railway station. When I got back all the trains were late once again so I got back home a bit late.

Just for reference there is a KFC mate but it is out of the town centre, a short bus ride would get you there
I know that train very well (in a none trainspotter kinda way!). I used to get it from Leeds to Halifax all the time. It's marginally better than the one that goes to Manc Victoria - at least it has more than one carriage! Didn't know it went through Blackburn....learn something every day
