Hi adz...I know the Roland keyboards were used a lot in the 80's/90's...Monty is prob better clued up to answer this one, I had a few Roland keyboards in my time and untill PC and fat samplers took over the world...I reckon they were the best synth piano.

Same with me man! That's the easiest way to buy me. If i hear the sound in any track - they got me, i gotta have the song.

It's a sample, not a proper piano patch that you could play Mozart on or anything. I'm sure somebody once told me what synth it originated from but I honestly can't remember.

The other big (proper playable) piano sound that was used to death is from the Korg M1
