I would be suprised if you have paid fella. I reckon you may have gone to the pay section but if you havn't sent a cheque or paid by paypal then you still owe him.

Check paypal and see if a payment as gone but i reckon not.

Hope that helps

Andy

You wont have paid, if foreign sellers dont accept paypal its a right arse..

Usually when the option is Money Transfer it is via youre bank I think, which I avoid like the plague because you can incur allsorts of charges..

Dont send a cheque, it will cost him money to cash it and they usually dont accept foreign cheques..

I recommend you get his address, pop down the post office and get the amount he wants in Euros. Ask for one of them Money bags or Cards that can disguse the fact you are sending money through the post, theres some right dodgy posties out there..

Ive done this loads of times and its 99% OK.

Oh and tell him hes a nob for not using Paypal, he'd get more people buying his stuff

I used to get pissed off if sellers didn't use Paypal.

But after being ripped off by 250 quid as a seller, there is no way i'd ever use it again.. Their seller protection policy is absolutely shocking. A buyer can chargeback the money at anytime, even years after the transaction and there is nothing you can do to stop it happening.

The bank don't investigate it and neither do Paypal. Have a look at these sites and you'll find some right horror stories : -

It's a shame i'd not seen these before I sold using Paypal.

Geekboys right about Paypal - any buyer can do a charge back at any time on their payment - especially easy if they have used a credit card instead of credit in their Paypal fund - all they have do is claim the item is not as described (ie finger mark on label/ slight crease on cover) and bang! - instant refund

even if you Paypal account is empty they can pull the money from your attached bank account

It really is a terrible system and the scams are only set to increase as people realise how easy it is to defraud someone :(

check some of the stories from sellers on Ebays Payment & Postage chat board - tis truely shocking

Send a letter with the money.

For me it's fuckin' too, that England hasn't got the €, because in the inner-euro-zone its possible to make bank transfers for normal prices.
