Hi all!! im Bassbox from Nireland. lov da old skol, just wish i hada been da age bac den 2head out! wanna make some old skool styled choons of my own but dont no wot type of equipment i need. first mixed tape i heard was HIT THE DECKS vol1 mixed by MEGABASS and TWO LITTLE BOYS which i still play. i bigtime lov rave even though its bout 16yrs l8r. Bring bac da old skool rave!!

Welcome to the board mate.:wave:

For making tunes I would recommend fruity loops, its a bit tricky at first but once you get you head round the basics there's no stopping you.

Alright mate! Enjoy your stay mate. Re: tune making, I supposed it what you feel you'd be most comfortable with. If you not too bothered about hands on controllers etc, then something like Reason might suit you. I'm strictly hardware all the way, and am finding the transistion a little difficult. Perhaps you could have a look on Ebay for something like the electribe grooveboxes, whicg occasionally go for under £100, and are really intuitive when creating sounds from scratch. Any questions you might have, I'm more than happy to help fella. Take it easy. Ed:D
