Finishing off a bit of another tune this afternoon, not really 100% happy with it due to lyrics sounding a bit wierd somehow (not used to trying to put vocals on from samples -Im usually an instrumental dweller), it being *very* long and whether the same elements are used too much.........
Anywayz........its another home made 'makeover' of a proper old skool 91 piano tune. Its very very long (weighing in at a hefty 8:45 mins) and contains piano's nearly thoughout!!!!.
Too much piano me thinks, but I just get carried away with piano lust!!. The original track is the same sort of length and has the same(ish) amount of piano's in it so what the heck.
Anyone intrested?. I dont know when I will be able to complete it and upload it, but would probably be soon ie late this weekend or next week.
Im going to deface the track with a robot voice a bit to identify it. Jonno will be first in the que for providing me with some vocal snippets.........if he wants it that is.
The problem is uploading it somewhere for a short time 'cos myplay is too dodgy. I might do it and keep changing the password and let anyone interested in one at a time or sommet.
Doesnt sound too far away from the last one really, I dont know if its on par with it or not, or better or worse. I enjoyed making it but after hearing it about 20million times, I wanted to just bin it!!!. Again, its got that homemade sound to it (boo) cos I dont know how to 'master' audio with EQ...it just boggles the mind getting yer head round that stuff.
All I ask in return, if I up it, that if its pants folk say so in a constructive manner so I can improve....
