The song is a slowish pianoey symphonic breakbeat number. Like a cross between Moodswings - 6 Train and Hybrid - Finished Symphony except slower. I can rip if anyone wants.
I'd guess it was 98ish. The bootleg is on Canadian Entertainments. I bought it for Coldcut - Say Kids.
I've just done some cross referencing detective work on Netsounds and Hard To Find and I think that there is a high possibility that the tune is actually Rob Dougan - Clubbed To Death (Matrix Mix). There's a bloke called SlickRick selling the 12" of clubbed to death for £60 and the double pack promo for £250:| Don't think I'll be buying that then.
After a bit more delving I've spotted the tune is getting new remixes released next week on promo with Hybrid remixes released the week after. Which is pretty fucking top news because Hybrid can do no wrong in my eyes. The Welsh wizards - small dicks or not they make good music.
