Hello folks  - apologies for the late info but I have just been informed that there is a dress code of sorts that has been put into place by the venue.

The dress code is:

NO TRACKIES
NO STRIPEY TOPS
NO STUPID SIZED GOLD CHAINS
NO ROCKPORT SHOES
NO FOOTBALL SHIRTS

AND

NO TRAINERS (!) (Trainers as in bright coloured one's - smart / dark coloured OK).

I have argued the point about trainers as I have only been advised about this today and I have told people who have asked me that it is OK to wear them. They accept this and WILL let people in who are wearing trainers for the 1st 2 'Not Forgotten' Events (Nipper and Jon Da Silva) - if possible though can people try and follow this dress code from this event onwards. People who do turn up in trainers will be reminded but will be let in (we obviously still hold the right of admission - R.O.A.R.).

The other restrictions stay in place but i think we all welcome this to keep the 'unsavoury' away from what promises to be a superb event.

On a lighter note, S-30 have boosted the sound in the venue by an extra 1.5k so watch your bass bins - i'm tellin ya..... phones:

See you all there..........

most places these days have a downer on stripey tops - i'm not sayin that if someones got shoes on, decent jeans and top with stripes on they wont get in, its if it comes as part of the kit ie 'trackies, stripes, big luminous trainers / rockport and a 40" thick chain'... :ba2:

we all know the score with doormen - if they like your face your in.....

I can see why theyve banned stripeys. I dont know about other places but in manc as a lot of idiots wear stripey jumpers which is common. Bit harsh on trainers but what can u do.

Ahhh now i understand! I thought they meant the pattern of stripes in general. Lol i had an image of myself being turned away in my fab Chloe shirt as it had a faint stripe running through.

Phew glad we cleared the stripe issue up :)

pmsl im with u on this one chic, i too thought they meant no stripes:eek: , i was thinking crickey wot kinda place is this:eek:
i remember wen we used to go raving and u went out in anything at all, no dress codes or anything! i used to wear a sun visor, bikini and hot pants for crying out loud and my precious fila boots.

which leads me to the POINT.

NO Trainers:naughty: :naughty: :naughty: :naughty:
sorry but there is no way ud get me in a club if i cudnt wear me trainers..

i mean ya cant dance round like a nutter in a pair of stupid stilletos can ya.
so trainers are an absolute must.

and i dont know any blokes from on ere that like to go out in 'up town boys chino and shirt shoes' either:S .

so they need to sort it out:) :) trainers for all, wotever the colour, just comfy for dancing in:love:

Just get a coupla black plastic bags and wrap them over your trainers, stuck down with a bit of sellotape like, proper blue peter styleeee.

Then when you get to the door, make sure you have a gorgeous lady with you, get her to pretend she's having a bit of a fiddling sesh, and woo woo, the bouncer will be grinning and you can all get in with nay hassle.

Everyone's a winner baby, and I've managed to get the word fiddling into this thread (twice)

Rah rah rah etc

C'mon Saturday, can't come soon enough, I've got two nights left in work...

The Countdown Has Begun :fekked:

let me clear this up...!! - they said no trainers but i have argued this and THEY ARE ALLOWED, I will also argue this for future events orelse we'll change venues - one thing i didn't add to the list though was 'NO CHINO'S...' and the women can come like this if they want...

forgot to mention - i'll be wearin trainers, and so's ben fisher. think nipper's wearin his slip on's though, helps him grip when he's scratchin.....

the main point of the thread was to let people know that we are actively keepin scallies out of the club - if you get hassle at the door phone or text me on 07736 825850, mention OSA to me and your in.....

hope to see you there and have a top night...

Sully.

Trainers No brainers

In my experience, they state these Stipulations (just swallowed a dictionary) as tool to use on the door if they don't want let certain people in. As long as you look half decent & are not completely out of your kite..you'll be fine....

im not bein funny but , trainers in a club , come on , it teks the piss , and stripey jumper`z , who would just want to look a **** when you go out

i think the club are actually doin this for your own good , so you dont look a twat ,

nowadays , people wont go to clubs with the trainers dress code cos the oldskoolers now have mainly moved on and smartened there selves up
