I was on the main computer yest and the screen went blue in the end i had to restart it cause nowt would work. Once it had come back on nothing is reconised all the desk top items are there but when i try and connect to the internet or open a program nothing is reconised or access is denied   . I have tried opening up in safe mode but it wont do that either. Some of the error messages are rundll32.exe not found - winmm.dll - try reinstalling software to solve the problem  I have tried to load the xp disc but nothing appears on screen it's like nothing is there.
Please can someone advise me on somethng to try, any help would be very appreiciated Thanks in advance.

OK http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?winmm to download the latest winmm.dll but thats not causing your problem.

The rundll32.exe is your graphics card, the drivers are probably fucked http://www.nvidia.com download the latest drivers from there and then install them on your machine, if this machine wont access the internet then youll need to download them onto another machine and then put the drivers on disc to install it.

You might want to delete the graphics card and reboot or even take the card out and re seat it after deleting it.

If you do get it up and running back up your music straight away.

TBH I think your going to need a new hard drive as well

Saying that if nothing is getting recognised it may not let you do fuck all.

I would see if you can get in device manager and delete your graphics card then unplug it and re seat it, hopefully it will find the hard ware and install the drivers from your disc.

Good luck anyway

Thanks cam,
Alsorts of error messages are coming up hun, it's like its not reconising anything at all. I think it should go through the wndow myself  is doing my head in. I can go online on laptop to download latest drivers. I have tried to reinstall over top but it wont let me do that either, then it asked for password which we have never put one in.  I do think window is the better option honest. Lol!! not funny really, I have not a clue when it comes to all this.

right......... myk's seen the thread, says ur system folder is buggered, n even if u get the files that it says r needed ull still keep getting 1ks of more error msgs. he says ur gonna have to reinstall windows. he recons the problem cud have been caused by a virus or just that ur HDD is fucked. in which case even reinstalling windows wont solve the problem, but thats wot he say u shud do.
