HI BPS...yeah I know man, but Mark ran a club through in Auchterarder with Colin Hasson called Strawberry Bazaar in 93/94 Great club, in fact excellent night out. Don't want to speak about the bro in public dude, all I'm saying is that he wasn;t the friendliest, although I may be did not know him. Re my post above: yeah I knew that he was the Manager of 23rd, that's why I jumped on to the next thought/sentence about strawberry bazaar. I had Mark in my mind when i was writing, that's what I jumped onto stawb bazaar. Sorry that I confused you. Nah, Sean - Mark Burns had dark brown /almost black hair, fairly tall, and he did in fact run the shop in Dundee as BPS says. I'm not getting mixed up, I know who he is. Regular black t shirt weaer - virtually nothing else if memory serves me right. Mark Stewart - you're not thinking of a guy actually called Ginge, who used to run / ended up running a record shop in Perth around 1994 on South Street - can't remember if this is the same guy. I think it is though, I think he started out in Dundee 23rd if memory serves me right. He was pretty sound in fact - he knew a few friends of mine from Perth. His hair was indeed bright Orange - like Rus Abott skit stylee. He was failry queit type of bloke. All I was saying is that when it came to buying records, the guys in Equniox were pretty friendly/sound - this was not always the case in 23rd P in Dundee where thought they were guarding the Holy Grail in there. Glasgow and Edinburgh (later) were ok though. Maybe MB had a few off days' when I saw him. Hey BPS - if you know MB, I don't want a black eye....on the other hand he is semi-famous, so I guess he'll just have to put up with some bad press like the rest of them. I'm sure he can shrugg it off! He was indeed a great mixer though, I'll give him that, and he played great house tracks in his club. Good DJ I thought. Remember a song called Miss Jones that he used to played regularly. Peace Jono
