In a pineapple under the sea!!!!!
Old skool cartoons :D

Isn't this the conversation everybody has after a club, when your'e coming down :D .

I know its happened with me countless times, everybody's rabbitin away then someone pops up and says "Mr Benn", then thats it everyone gets on one and the place is alive with the topic of cartoons you use to watch when you were a kid. GOOD TIMES ;)

Here a few of my personal faves:

Chorlton and the wheelies
Jamie and the magic torch
Wizbit
Dogtanian and the Muskerhounds
Battle of the Planets
Bagpuss
Fingermouse (pants but good)
Jayce and the wheeled warriors
He-Man
Turtles

At the end of the day the list could go on and on, but its doin ma head in now tryin to think of anymore

not a cartoon but i've been searching on google for animal kwackers for ages because no one remembers it,, just me i think.... found it thanks to this post  .... here's the story lol ...
quote:
Children's entertainment from Yorkshire Television featuring a quartet of animals (well, I had a sneaking suspicion they were actors in animal costumes really!) from the planet Popland. The four visitors who played as a band were; Rory (a blue rastafarian lion) on guitar, Boots (a tiger) on guitar, Twang (a monkey) on bass, and Bongo (a dog) on drums.

Arriving in their flying saucer the group would sing contemporary pop hits and tell a story before returning to their home planet at the end of each episode. The music sounded uncannily like it was composed by Paul McCartney.

is right

most of the classics have been mentioned

Banana Splits aye - remember the hardcore version of the theme tune? I did have the vinyl years ago. Did they copy the UK version that Mick was on about, or was it the other way round? Who was originaaaaal first??

Roger Ramjet's been mentioned.

As of course, has Batfink - My wing's are like a shield of steel!

Of course, Cities of Gold and Ulysses - say no more.

Battle of the Planets was fooking boss... how do you spell the name of the mad nutter Keeyop? "broooop, dup dup - Keeyop here..."

That Power Extreme one was something I was gonna ask too - I think it was Mesh or summat lol - bolt on weapons etc, you could get action figures too.

One that's not unlike that Mesh cartoon thing, was an anime type Japanese or US cartoon style thing where there was an International Rescue type organisation and they'd save the world from impending doom. If I remember rightly, the drawing was pretty sharp - I used to lust after the spaceships and equipment they had. :$

Can't believe no-one's mentioned Ant Hill Mob and Secret Squirrel tho.
