Hey Everybody

It seems i've been missing the party here at old skool anthemz. There's nothing more i love than gatherings of likeminded individuals and chatting about the old days. Those that know me will certainly say i love speaking about the ole days, as i've written a book on my personal involvement. 'Class of 88 - the true acid house experience'

Listening to the choons on this site sends goose bumps across my body and transports me back to that place in time. In fact i'll have a sing song in the office right now.

woohoo!!! another person that appreciates acid house!!!;) ;) welcome to the board m8... ive been into the scene since 87 so I have loads of acid house tunes... was a great era for me... not many on here like it and I can imagine why.. must sound a little boring... but a few of us know better cos we were there when it happened....;) ;) ;) ;)

Yes remember the Jaffa's!

Got a box right here :| Though the Ratpack track came in 1991 if i remember rightly. I also did the whole northern thing in 1991 when the parties were better than the ones in London. I was going out with DJ Rap at the time and so got to attend all the best gigs.

As for being the oldest on the boards i must say i still look young :dummy:

To be honest i remember the times when my parents and people of their generation would say nothing matches the sixties. It did get up my nose a little as i felt we lived in the backdraft of those drug fuelled days. Then Acid House hit London and i started doing large scale illegal parties in warehouses. It's then i felt relieved to say the sixties couldn't match up to the late eighties.

I guess in some ways that's how anyone that came onto the scene from 1991 must feel on the topic. Though when we use that definition we're actually speaking of a spiritual connection between people music and earth. Something which has been lost but can also be regained.
