Having just been browsing e-bay/gemm etc I've found that rhythm is a mystery was apparently released on at least 3 labels:
Deconstruction, Creed and Knights of the turntable.
Does anyone know what the differences are? I know the Deconstruction one was the general release that got in the charts.

The original release of Rhythm is a Mystery was on Creed. It was a pretty wank mix and featured heavily in bargain bins (this doesn't stop VinylExchange charging £14 for a copy I noticed the other day). There was also a remix release on Creed, which featured the mix everybody knows (on this release this mix is called Mechanix Mix). This release was like rocking horse shit, even at the time. Then after a bit of a wait K Klass signed to Deconstruction and the tune got re-released (this time the mix was just called Remix). The Knights release is a bootleg, no idea what the mix is called on there.

As far as I know, the Creed one is the original. I have all the releases (I think)!!. If I remember rightly the one on creed which has the 'right' mix on is black and red and is infact the remix 12" - Ill have to properly check if u wanna know for certain.........
Creed was something to do with the boys at EasternBloc. Deconstruction was the commercial release and Knights of The Turntable is just a booty which just happens to include kklass as one of the tracks.....

see ya

The sleeve of the Creed remix 12 is mostly grey, with remix written in red. The cat# is CREED 11TX. I don't think it was featuring anybody - this could be the normal Creed 12 (which is an all black cover).
