thought i'd ask you all a question as well, with GT's 3rd birthday coming up I've been thinking about all the top nights i've had there and i'd like to know your favourtie GT moment or moments..??

i've got two that stick out at the moment, think they might appear ina few peeps answers..

ben droppin bass value before the club was open properly, there was about 15 OSA regulars on the balcony part near the chillout...we just went mad, just for that 5 minutes, then when the tune stopped we just went back to having a drink/chat whatever..but it was just a mad 5 min..

the other has to be the XTC total confusion scratch..say no more

:drum: :guitar:

so what's yours ??

Oh this is a good question

Ive got quite a few special moments too...

Agree with grad on the bass value one, it was just mad we were all sitting chilling in the glass room when it came on and everyone ran out and went completely mad, was top  :drum: :guitar:

Also agree with Butty, the Antony Rock tribute was lovely and Ben chose the right tune :)

This is a soppy one, the night when grad told me he loved for the first time on the dancefloor and my legs went to jelly..they werent in the best state to begin with, I nearly fell over !! :fekked:    He had to be f**ked to tell me tho !!! :fekked: Lol !!

Also the first time I met Tall Paul - I will never forget that grin, I buzzed off you all night that night ;) :D

Vertigo night - he blew my socks off, just wish I could remember a bit more !

Seeing everyone there, remember the last time I went everyone was there when we got in and we all hugged, made it a great atmosphere, even tho it werent that busy  I love you all, youre all top  :king: :luv: ;)

Oh and the night that Recca played. From the minute I heard the tunes walking up to the club, I knew it was gonna be a good night, best night of tunes that one

Oh thats quite a lot !! Hope there wasnt a limit on moments  Ive prob got more too, but that'll do for now !!

Hmmm, prob the last Sy and Monsoon night. It was the first time I'd met the majority of ya's and I was comletely :fekked: Topics included Exter, Tessalation and I am sure there was a siamese cat walking around upstairs!!!!

Also, Tufty club discussions with Mr VA!!!!!!

Tune wise, Ricks first set last Nov was FOOOKIN classic in every sense, as was his last last month. And Pilgrim was pretty damn fine as well.

Theres many more crazy moments to come though I am sure...........

Best thing for me was just the strong numbers off the board - always have a good 'un when there's lots of us there, always nice to see everyone!

Spot on Tall Paul

Ive said in a different tread that it dont matter that the place isnt rammed, its the people who go that make it for me. I look forward to that just as much as having a good ol boogie to top tunes  ;)

Definitely - its the quality of the people who make the good club rather than the numbers.

We used to DJ & run a few nights about years ago, there wasn't many people but evryone in there came out saying that was one of the best nights I've ever had 'cos of the crowd which developed - we're still friends 10 years on.

Only down side was didn't used to have much money then so had to stop 'cos run out of funds :( but don't regret any of them

Let me think...

Best moments...

hmmm... that would be - first time I went (feb) coz I didnt know what to expect and hadnt been to a proper place for ages remember meetin people for the first time and avin it large on the dance floor Best Moment of that night was deffo...

Rachel Wallace - Tell me Why - when this tune was dropped for the 2nd time of the night late on (I think) - everyone went absolutely mental place was quite packed there was people buzzin off people half way up the stairs and they was buzzin back off them the whole club was boincin - quality moment that makes hairs stand up at back ot neck.

Then there was March one - This was best night for tunes for me and the club was freezin but the tunes carried on till about 2:15 classic after classic couldnt sit down had a top laff with Clare Wrex & synchronised stomp with Sweet on the dancefloor - top night.

The atmosphere that XTC generated in April was a top moment

That May one where we all crammed in that corner upstairs and was bouncin away it was ace turnin out with the OSA crew from T's everyone buzzin about the night and the old school minibus.

Booking in a hotel under the name of Angus McCoatup the scottish cloakroom attendant - and havin a riot there in the buildup to the May doo.

The tunes and the people are a winning combination - with the help of certain other aspects ya cant really go wrong! But its been a beltin year for me so far.

I dont know if the cornmill is included in this thread but that for me was untouchable - The best night (clubbing) of my life anyway venue was perfect - outdoor chillout was a mega success. Dont think it will have the same impact at the afterdark for the next un but ya never know.

O aye - and this Birthday ash was a stormer aswell - top antics and tunes all night - big turnout from the OSA crew - loads of people to talk to all night and have a laff with. - Top top nights!

Cheers
