First thread I've started in Chillout for about 4 years I reckon!

Just wondered who has pets on OSA, and what type?

I got a rescue cat in September, he'd been found in East London in a bad way, and had to have one eye removed. He's called Nelson. It's all furred over now, so looks like he's winking, and he's got a few bad ass street habits like attacking your legs when you refuse his food requests, and sharpening his claws on anything he can.

It's the best move I ever made, my first cat as a kid only had one eye, and when I saw his picture, I thought it was fate. The first night I got him I felt my heart burst (see Cheryl I have been in love) and we've been best mates since. The girl I am seeing is a bit jealous of him!

got 3 pets at the moment...

a 10 month old Bengal cat called Misty..V funny to watch her lie in wait for my youngest son then leap out on him and take him down as if he prey on the plains..lol:king:

a leopard ghecko called Jaxx.

and a goldfish called cheese, his mate Biscuit died a couple of months ago so i might get him a new pal soon.

I got a cat that I rescued from a pet shop window... she was probably 6 weeks old and I was so angry i threatened to report the owner of the shop so he gave me the cat...

Anyway 'Margot' (she has a good life!!) was ill for the first week and i fed her by hand... now 10 years later she follows me around literally never leaving my sight when I am at home.

My wife who is also jealous lol! says when i am working she never sees her but as soon as she hears I am home she's there... talk about rivalry... also and without seeming pervey will lick me for hours lol (my arm!!) if i let her

love her to bits too

Awwwwww Ed that is such a heartwarming little story.

I have a big beautiful long silky haired cuddly super-friendly super-purry super-luxurious cat and if he was a man i'd marry him. He is the PERFECT gentleman. He is so graceful and well mannered, and very human in his mannerisms. He is like a little angel sent especially to my family to bring bundles of love where its much needed, he softens everyones mood and he's made my family bond more, he is sickeningly cute, you only have to touch him and he purrs. He has actually been a godsend for my household  he's a MASSIVE part of the family and there are rarely a few hours when he's not spoken to or about. Lol, I know thats cheesy, but I absolutely love that cat.

I chose him, I didn't want a ginger cat (lol) but when I opened the cage at the RSPCA house and he pounced straight out of it into my arms and put his paws round my neck like a baby and started purring... I had to keep him...love at first sight haha.

We also have a stray cat that moved in with us about 6 years ago...and we've only just recently named her lol! She is a totally different kettle of fish but I won't bore you with anymore!

im like herpes....never quite fcuk hoff!!!
ive got a cat called Leo........big thing with huge paws!!

realy funny to watch, he wont let you love him, but if he wants loves n cuddles hes like a baby on your knee lapping up the attention!

i know it sounds weired but he talks to you.........like the way charly does in prodigy lol

ive got a tropical fishtank too but they havnt got names apart from the big huge plekky thing and hes called steven.......got him off sweets and pauly last year with some other fish and it would be rude not to keep his name.

i love animals and id love to have a dog, but living in a flat with no secure garden is just cruel, plus im at work allday etc.......so much easier having a cat as they basicaly take care of themselves!

Got a cat called pixy...
KICX0349.jpg

He pretty much runs things.
Also got 2 giant african land snails that belong to my daughters, one called elaster girl and one called orange juice, posibly the most useless pets in the world.
Recently we got my eldest daughter a hamster named scuff. Scuff died after a week so I had to go on the hunt for a replacement before she noticed. Unfortunately scuff was a sandy long hair and after a day of trawling several local pet shops I couldn't find one that looked anything like her. In the end I managed to get hold of one of scuffs brothers, who was twice as fluffy and was all diferent colours. So we told her that scuff had just grown her winter coat.
Had 2 ferrets until recently. One died of old age and the other pined away and was dead by the following weekend :(
My gf is also looking to get some bantams soon. No doubt I'll be the one who ends up looking after them as has hapened with all the other animals.
