Simple question really.

Do you use/go on OSA as much when you first joined.?

Will include a Poll.

Mine is No, Dunno the reason why just that i flick on rather than spend time on it now.

But thats not to say i still enjoy the qualities that OSA has to offer.

I'd say, about the same.

Think I still use it as much, it's just that the focus and craic have moved away from the chillout room to the shoutbox, but that's all real time, so not somewhere you can catch up to later if you haven't been on here for a while;)

This place used to be very funny at one time and equally very serious with some in depth discussions. Now it's a Chillout Room lite edition:|

Aren't the answers 'yes' and 'about the same' sort of the same answer to the question 'do you still use osa as much?'

Anyhoo..... I use it about the same I think. Obviously now though it's only to keep up the 'good girlfriend' act for Butty, lol. :D Only joking!! :love:

I don't post topics anymore! it gets to personal on OSA for me!...

I come on the shoutbox now & then! but at times i do wish there was 2 shoutbox's one for music/having a laugh & one for people who want to talk about personal things because that gets to deep & depressing for me to much judgement on people!...

I like to chat to peeps who are here for the love of music & none judgemental people having a laugh talking about all aspects of music! DJing/Scratching/Producing what ever it is!...

It's a great place tho!...Just to much hard work on OSA at times!...Sadly my answer is no i don't come on as much!...

I voted no but, unlike most, that's because I come on here more now that I did when I first joined.
The reason being when I 1st signed up it was because I was gonna sell all my tunes so I signed up to list them. 5 years later I'm still here, have started djing and buying records again and have sold nowt lol

i go in the shouty mostly (and mainly when im intoxicated and talk shoit...as you all know lol):$ and i get to speak to my lovely OSA m8s:love:
i looove:love: the radio and always listen even if im not logged on. i try n get on when my fave djs are playin..;) :phones:
i think the site is wicked and cant believe i lurked for so long before joinin..big up Butty:thumbsup:
ive met some top ppl in ere and glad i found you..you know who u are!!;) :cool:
i always try n post birthday msgs and welcome ones too coz i think its nice and friendly to do..:D
OSA has given me the guts to go n buy new decks and start collectin vinyl again and rekindled my love of h.o.u.s.e

A. Because i'm not in education at the moment sat at a computer 24/7, i've been working full time & the site is blocked on every computer.

& B. Facebook

TBH the fact I still come on this site 5 years on after first joining, and am still very good friends with a number of people who I met through this site is a miracle in itself, I don't still do alot now that I did when I was 16, but I still come on here.

God knows this mere music site has sporned friendships, love, marriage and babies :hubba: Amongst all sorts of funny people & controversy thats come along...

Like someone said ages ago, it has its drier spells where posts are slow and there aren't many new threads, then it picks up again, characters come and go, the dynamics change, just like anything.

And you can't please everyone, some people will always think the board is too serious and some will always think the conversation is not gritty enough, nothings perfect is it, but I think we do pretty well :)

I have to say no..

I use to love this place, was one of the first to join, and have had many fantastic years of my life, by meeting the most amazing friends ever.

But after 7 years of being on hear, my life has changed a lot, my Daughter was then 7 years old, she is now 14, i like to spend most of my free time with her now, and as i have been realy busy trying to be part of growing a dance scene hear in York, the rest of the time im ever out dj'ing, promoting or doing my day job.

Still love the OSA, and feel it will always be there like a friend....."You dont have to be there every day, but when you come back, it is like you where never apart"

Had the best 7 years of my life because of the OSA, memories i will never forget, And people i will never stop loving :love:

id say in on about the same........actualy no thats a lie im not on as much and thats only because thees not so many nights out now

there used to be something on every weekend.......earth, goodtimes, timeless, hazy........so more were on the board then n jeeing everybody up for the nights out

ive met some ace peeps and some i will remain friends with forever even if i dont see em for months on end....but when u meet up its like u only saw em last week.

some of the topics keep me informed on the latest goings on in the world plus its a good lace to get tips n info from..........like using veet down the plughole to get rid of clogged hair ;)
