So well rated this... I've taped it (on VHS... how fucking oldskool am I) and not got round to watching it yet.
Looking forward to it though... heard great things from peeps who's views I would trust...

Yeah I got the idea that the fantasy thing was the little girls escapism, but I just feel that it would have been better if it had been swung over more towards the fantasy style, or more towards the drama style, rather than being stuck right in the middle.

Might have to watch it again and see if I still feel the same

yep if its pans labrynth your on about then yep ive watched it and thought it was stunning!!!

great visual piece and fantastic storey - i didnt utter a word all the way thro great great movie!

prefered orfanto (the orphanage) but that had a pretty dodgy ending. The suspense was great though. Twas the same director I believe.
