Can someone id the first track and then everyone can guess at predicting the rest of the set if thats what you think.
I've not heard a PT tape for probably 10 years so would be interested in hearing it.
He's a crowd pleaser, personally A lot of dj's are uninspiring but its to do with bums on seats for the promoters. Play the stuff everyone will know!!!

jus been readin all the posts on pt and opinion seems to be very much varied, but theres alot of ppl who seem to be angry with the man.im a big pt fan so im not gonna slate the guy.ive met him cuple times and hes seems like a nice fella-alot of ppl ive spoke 2 have sed hes up his own arse but thats not the impression i got.
anyway, i can see ppls point of view.yes,his mixing isnt the best in the world but hes a crowd pleaser and the atmosphere at a retro nite is always awesome.
yes he does play predictable mixes and alot of the same tunes, and personally i would like to see him delve a little deeper into his collection but i can see it from his point of view that he cant please everyone.this debate was argued for months on the retro website, with the 'oldies' wanting more of a variety in old skool house and less predictable tunes, not to mention the newer ones.
like someone else has said you cant knock the guy for getting hundreds of young ppl into old skool and i think there is definately a syndrome going around where ppl love to hate him.
whoever was complaining about him playing newer, mainstreem tunes i agree that some dont belong in a 'retro' set.BUT retro has formed its own identity and there is alot of newish tunes that just fit into the retro sound-likes of red carpet-alright:these tunes are classics for the future.theres also the tunes that just sound so good at tall trees so he puts them in, likes of drop the pressure, but even then he plays a different mix of it(erol alkan).

once again sorry, i never expected it to go this far...........
just downloaded it an its the volume#2 retro cd that they sell on the website-the tracklist is on there aswell-tis a good cd, not as good as volume#1 and 3 but still some good tunes there
Ive downloaded this mix i think its ok but not as good as some of his other mixes (thats just my personal preference) 
would be nice if...

am startin to change my opinion of pt right now,as for me retro is goin down the pan an jus gettin borin.am sick of hearin same songs,same mixes,and new funkyhouse tunes at a supposed old skool nite,wher the dj seems to only have 50 records to choose from-maybe im a bit bitter cos he sacked jay lee lloyd.

i tried downloading that paul taylor retro mix but it keeps sayin file doesnt exist...does anyone know what the problem might be and how i can get my hands on it?
