If you don't like it then don't go, it's that simple. I can't believe the amount of people whingeing about nights out. It don't matter where you go it's what you make of it when you get there that counts. As far as the music goes, the people who are whingeing about the remixes and stuff, well they would still moan if they played the classics all the time. The same tunes get a bit monotinious if they are played ALL the time. Some of the thin and cheeky trax series are excellent and get the place rockin. STOP MOANING AND GET DANCING
yeah but a lot of people dont just go out relentlessly dancing,.. a lot of the older (and younger so im not being ageist) peeps prefer to have a quiet natter in the pub with their mates of a weekend, and save up for a specific night just playing old stuff which they may make their big monthly event, at which they may have
1. been told will be playing classics on forums / posters / billboards / fliers (which as a general general rule we will call piano and vocal led house from 88-95, just to be general like so we dont get into an arg about what tunes we can expect classics to mean)
2. and if i bought a car that was advertised as having air con, i would not make the best of it, with the hot cold air blower, i would tell other people that might be buying this car because it comes with air con, that they would perhaps be better not buying it cos it in fact does not come with air con, it has been misadvertised, it is illegal, it is morally wrong and in the same sense shameless promoters who offer specialist nights that are no different than normal nights should not advertise specialists nights,
we all know old skool and club classics seems to bring in big numbers with everything going nostalga mad at the moment, so i wonder if people are advertising to get peole through doors,
dont get me wrong i dont begrudge a promoter making monay, they deserve to,.. but the paying customer also deserves to get what they pay for
