I really don't understand why kick up such a fuss about 1 mix, if you don't like something, don't download it.

I haven't downloaded it as it's not my bag, I grabbed some early acid house mixes instead as I dig them instead

Let's all be thankfull that there aren't any donk mixes or scouse house mixes on here

What you have to remember tkon..is that this section would be empty without members taking the time to upload and post mixes...so all those people would expect is appreciation from those downloading..in the form of a cheers or thanks for the mix. now as people including myself have suggested. if you see a mix and it say 2000 or 2004, theres a good chance you'll not like it..so just pass it by. I happen to hold manners and civility in high regard..so that was why i was surprised that you coulldn't see that you had been offensive to the original poster in this thread. I personally don't agree that we need a separate section for newer mixes (if they are to be allowed), as you can just look at the thread title to see if it suits.

Good question m8 and i'm glad you asked.I listen to Plaid,F.S.O.L.,Autechre and the like which to me shows a real evolution and progression from the great oldschool of the past.To me music should not be stuck in the past but continually evolving.I would be just as critical of the artists i have mentioned if in 10 years they are still making the same music.I am not or want to be elitist but this is my philosophy regarding music otherwise it just gets stale and repetitive

If you regard my comments as being rude surely then me being called an idiot etc is the same thing.Dont get me wrong it doesnt bother me,i love a good robust debate but if your going to censure me surely it should apply to all
Also butty if i caused you any offence i assure it wasnt intended and none of my comments were made with any malice i just feel pretty strongly about the terrible so called house music being made today phones: phones:

the replies you got were just biting back at the unneeded comments you made in the first place mate. if you hadnt started the beef up then others wouldnt have got on ya back, this i cant blame em for - if your gonna get peoples backs up this is what happens.

i shall be looking into the mixes that are allowed in this bit, in future if you have any suggestions regarding the forum or owt then get in touch with me or one of the mods. please dont abuse a member for no reason when they havent gone against any rules as they havent been any set.
