I received an email from Paypal on Friday stating that they needed my details re-entering for checking purposes etc.



Notification of Limited Account Access


Dear ,


This e-mail is the notification of recent innovations taken by PayPal to detect inactive customers and non-functioning mailboxes.
The inactive customers are subject to restriction and removal in the next 3 days.
You must click the link to complete the process.



Please confirm account information by clicking here








This notification expires April 18, 2005.
Warning !!! For your security, PayPal will never ask you to re-enter your full bank account, credit, or debit card number without providing you at least the LAST TWO DIGITS of the number. These digits let you know that we already know the full number and are asking you for the rest of it.

PayPal Email ID PP468

I followed the link and it appeared to direct me to the Paypal website. It was then asking me for full bank account and credit card details. I seem to remember a while ago about dodgy requests for accoutn info. Anyone know if this is genuine and has anyone else had same request???

Not 100% sure mate but i would air on the side of caution fella and ignore it. If you notice problems while using paypal afterwards contact them and see wat the prob is.
