I won something on Ebay from a guy in Germany. He says I can pay with Paypal, but the funds have to come directly from my Paypal account and not from a credit/debit card, because he only has a basic Paypal account.

What I want to know is, what the fuck is he on about? :|

It basically means that hes not a verified member and that there is a limit as to what you can send or recieve - he needs verifiy his account which is easy to do and I can't understand why he hasn't?????

Unless hes found a loophole to skank you out of money but im a paranoid mofo

it's like he says, he has a personal account not a business account so he can't accept payments straight from a credit card..it just means you have to have the funds in your paypal account already. just looking and you can transfer money from your bank account but it takes time...not sure what would happen if you tried to send yourself money? or maybe get a friend to send you the cash?

Thanks, I think I get it. There's an option when you log in to Paypal to "add funds" but you have to fill in all your bank details - acc number, sort code etc. Don't see why you can't just credit your Paypal account from your debit card though?

Might just sack it off and wait for the inevitable negative feedback!
