When I put my pc on it sounds like I'm getting a number 1 haircut at the barbers (like the electric shaver) .... any ideas which fan I need to replace - Must be on it's way out whatever it is

Have the lid off mate, give it a good hoover out inside & make sure there aren't any wires catching on any of the fan blades

Depending on what size it is that you need to replace, I can totally recommend fans by Noctua. I have two 120mm fans in my new pc - one on the cpu (with the Noctua cooler) and one as an exhaust on the back of the case. Graphics card fan set to 25% (unless I'm gaming) and I can hardly hear that it's switched on!

Thanks - cleaned it and tucked the wires that were close in - works fine now
