People who normally listen to the real audio on the site

As you are prolly aware the audio aint working (again) lol

Ive decided its time to cut my losses and fuk the directoris space off, its been nothing but a joke there service and been up and down more than a tarts knikkers. With the new site coming on strong I dont want it to be a case of one minute there there n the next there not so im on the prowl for some new webspace.

I need your help thou in testing some space to see how stable it is and to make sure we dont get no annoying buffering and also how quick the space is

so if anyone with a bit of time on there hands could chek the mix ive put on the space im thinking of getting for the mixes etc etc then id b mostly greatful. i just need to know if it buffers or out whilst listening to it - the mix is here

also i need people on quick connections (adsl n up) to see what sorta speeds they can get out of this space for me. right clik n save target as here. if u could let us know whats the maximum u normally getout of ur line n what speed u get n also from the old space here, so i can compare em id b most grateful

i tried d/l'ing the mixes, but did i have to d/l it all cos if i did then i did it wrong

i downloaded them to 35% each...the first 1(new1) run at 60/61KB and the 2nd 1 run at 62/63KB

i will have a listen to the mixes in a minute...if i haven't done it right i can do it again but the rate was constant

Alrite butty, just downloaded from both on the new 1 i'm gettin speeds up2 65kb/sec and on the old 1 i'm only gettin btween 30-35kb/sec, new 1's deffo a lot faster.
Playin realaudio for last 10 mins and there's not so much as a blip flick or skip

BTW usin a 1meg broadband cable modem..

nah thats ok cheers glazzy anythin around up 2 30% of it will b a good enuff indication

if u just have a butchers at the first link (this 1) as in left clik n listen to it thru real player to see if it bolox up at all when streaming it hasnt for me yet so things l rlookin good id just rather b sure b 4 i get the space

if n e 1 has over a adsl connection could chek the 2 d/loads for us to see what sorta speed difference there is coz then il know what the limits r of the spaces

hi jayne , i'm usin an NTL business cable modem, i used to work for ntl and they give me it when there were doin network tests. but i conveniently forgot to give it back when i left them!! lol don't cost me anything, i'm sure they'll switch it off soon i left thenm 5 months ago

Don't know if its relevent but somtimes get speeds of up 2 100kb/sec thru kazaa!!!

my connection is Cable 512k
am only gettin 25 k/sec from both the download links, i usually get 60k/sec tops from my FTP's

i was gonna say bout the RA links but i thought ud b on the case anyway so i left it

I'm getting 115K/sec from both links which is about the max speed i get when downloading from the UK to Canada.
( i ave a 1.5mbps DSL ).

mmm strange, unlike everyone else i get the old one to be a lot faster,

new link - 200 kb/s
old link - 400 kb/s


but i guess it all depends on where you are, time etc...

sat on the uk backbone here, can often get 1mb/sec !!
