Petition - Bull terrier owners / likers, etc

I am doing a fair bit of stuff at the moment for a bull terrier registery and would like to make anyone thats bothered aware of a petition that is active at the moment

Not personally got dogs myself but grew up with them and wouldn't like to see a breed ban

My dogs got a bit of pit in her, but she wouldn't hurt a fly (Actually, I take that back - she kills rats and possoms, but loves people)

I'm no dog expert so if I'm taking bollocks please correct me, but..

I think it's more irresponsible dog-owners than breeds to be honest
I've known people with vicious labradors etc who've turned and attacked their owners.

I don't really think it's a good idea to get a strong fighting dog like a pit or rott if you've got young kids (Unless you're a dog trainer/handler, extremely careful etc)

However banning an animal just because it's a certain breed is ridiculous imo

a staff, pit bull, rottie can attack at any time, wether the owner is a good one or not. Am a owner of a staff and he has never attacked anyone, he has a good temparement and yes he is lovable, but things can happen, like its a hot summers day the dog becomes dehydrated its not in its right frame of mind. anything could happen.
