Did any off yas go the pier last night? I went with my sis, if anyone did go how fecking shite was the music!! :mad: They had few good tunes but most off them was crap, first time id been for at least 8 months, i wont be going back in a hurry, dont get me wrong the crowd are great, its just the shite music they play now!!!!

the tunes have been crap for a bit now.they play way to much vocal stuff,i like it there when the music is pumpin or bouncy house.
its the same everywhere i went the allnighter at maximes last night and that was s**t music all night.

Crick is like a social club that trys to be a club, on sanctuary nights the tunes are quality, bouncy stuff and some of the best italian tunes going, pier is the club, which i personally think is a good night cos they have a good crowd and they play a lot of bouncy stuff and the sound is good, but i have noticed they do play a lot of vocal hard trance which can be a bit shit when your off your head.

Well put it this way dont know if this is what its called but you know the tune where it says "the roof the roof the roof is on fire" well they played that at least 4 times!!

When i go to the pier i want to here Happiness and only me and stuff like that not the shite they play now!! I remember Happiness was usually the last tune they played ata the end of the night, and everyone loved it!!

Oh well not saying i wont go again just abit of a let down imo on sat!! :D

ive only been a couple of times this year and every time happiness and only me have been played.(if ben t is on last he will normally play all the anthems monster jam, poppers,hardplayers,wand)

to be fair pier play new bouncy tunes so they are only playing what is new so they cannot be blamed for poor tunes.all the djs there are told what is expected to be played there and the management do not want anything old except the end of the night tunes which always get played there.

only used to go to the pier (at the risk of showing my age) every saturday from 1990-1992, and would therefore welcome a whos who and whats what about it, as this would truely be a trip down the ol' memory laneth for me......... let me know kids!!!;) ta in advance.:love:

Cant really tell ya much about it cat coz sat was mi first time in ages, but imo the musics gone shite, you still get the sweaty meat heads in there, tops off and dripping all over yas lol, but pier wouldnt be the same without it! :D
