Walnuts are good an all i just thought- but they work really well (in a Linda Barker stylee) with raisins- i guess thats cheating as we are talking virgin nuts here.

Cashews are number 2 for me.

For sweet nuts, you cant realy beat a good old chocolate Brazil Nut. Cadbury's Fruit and Nut is probably second on the sweet nut factor.........but Planters' Dry Roast's.......hmmn....sent from heaven I reckon. Shame I cant really eat a lot of them anymore cos I have to avoid high fibre  .

I love just ordinary salted peanuts, yum - not keen on nuts in chocolate as it does not seem to taste right but I can munch through a whole giant bag of chocolate coverd raisins no problem :D

Has to be roasted and salted cashews
then
Dry roasted peanuts. I can never make my mind up between planters and Big D. Planters were the first nuts I remember eating. And I remember trying to mimmick the taste(circa 7 years old :dummy: ) by rubbing my tooth dry with my finger for about 5 mins then licking my tooth :fekked: . I digress... Big D always seemed the commoners peanut that you could only buy in working mens clubs when I was a nipper. So I guess they still have that devvo stereotype to them.
then
Pistachios
then
Big D salt and vinegar peanuts
then
Pecans
then
toasted coconut slices
then
Macademias
then
Hazelnuts
then
Brazils
then
Walnuts... they just take too long to shell and they have that weird aftertaste

The only nuts I don't like are tiger nuts, those peanuts that are meant to be for birds (poor beggars), and those things that look like hazelnuts but taste like the inside of a sewage pipe :hurl: .

It used to be dry roasted peanuts or cashews once upon a time, but now the only nuts I eat are in my breakfast 'Fruit N Fibre', the occassional walnut whip, or anything else that uses nuts in it's ingredients.
