pls help id and old skool classic arcade game

I used to love this game. You (i'm pretty sure) are a space ship at the bottom of the screen with planes and/or spaceships coming at you. But there is also tanks that come into it along the ground and they can come onto the screen from below you or from the sides of the screen. As well as a gun you can drop bombs on the tanks and the strange kind of turrents that appear for a second at a time and fire a missile at you. There were great power ups in this game. Any help id-ing it would make me very happy. thanks in advance. PS:- its not tiger heli, xenon, flying shark or flying tiger.

PPS- a colleague has just remembered the power ups were golden stars

a bottom to top scroller. When you lose a life your power ups are dropped and you have a short amount of time to pick them up with the next life. Tanks come in from both sides of screen or sometimes from the bottom so you have to wait until they have passed you before you can kill them. Seems VERY similar to a game called raiden. thanks for all your efforts peeps

those are old arcade games are they? This is deffo old arcade game from around 1990 i think. I REPEAT THIS IS A BOTTOM TO TOP SCROLLER

These weren't actually arcade games - but home computer games (absoulte corkers to say the least)

Cheat : On exolon on spectrum press the key to redefine the playing keys and type in z-o-r-b-a as the up,down,left right etc and you end up being invincible

i remember playing a game on the atari that sounds like this, but im not sure it was an arcade game???
