I did not make this tune, but people from Lodz (namely baseclub). Oldskool started in poland (well only in my city) around 93 (quite late) and reached its peak around 96-7. Then we had 3 biggest parties for 10 000 people and hosting slipmatt, ratpack and others. The music was perfect for the times. End of stupid communism, unemployment rose from 0 to 30 % in my city (fun ehh) and of course other love giving medicaments :) . So everybody just went happy and free. Clubs are ok. Not very good, but quite cheap (usually free ;) ) almost everyweek there is and oldskool playing. Still very popular and never ending. Apart Lodz oldskool is popular in Torun, and becoming popular in Krakow and Bydgoszcz. Lodz influence hehehe By the way my city is the only one in poland that is resistant to germanic correct machinery music. I guess our heads are too free to be put in that kind of orderly sound. other types that are now popular are : drum and base (absolutely awful what they play, makes me want to throw up; it is a mix of a speeded up kid with a holywood high budget garbage) , 2step (quite nice, but getting bored of it), house (as anywhere, lots of ethnic stuff ==> nice one). Basically everything what can be created in a devastated mind. Mainly on the breakbeat side. No german sound. That is about it I guess. If you ever come to poland, make sure to visit Lodz (or maybe contact me ;) ). Smile will never go away from your face. :pixie:  ehh, that is enough for now
