aye probabl right....but i still "dislike" the police...after i saw one cs gas a 6 year old, and another one cs her younger brother.....puts you right off a person that does!:naughty:

Yeah thats quite harsh, although as with everything, they aren't all wankers! My dad is in the police and he along with some colleagues are trying to instigate change 'from the inside' lol.....:cool: go dad! lol! However I'm not sure the government will listen to the few policemen and women who are appalled with the way the force is at the moment.

Back to the thread, my dad thinks this disguised van business won't last if in fact it happens at all as reported in the article. The whole practice is in direct conflict with the data protection act - you can't take pictures of people or their property without notice unless they have actually committed an offence. So, they need to be in a police van or they need to have a roadsign which warns motorists of the speed trap apparently :thumbsup:

What about tv detector vans, same should apply to those too really?;)

I reckon they should stick a leaflet through the door the day before they send round their spy vans:D
