can i also please remind promoters that we wont take no sheet on here anyone abusin the free service we provide on promotin events. be it unnessecary (?sp) post bumping, dissin of other nights or general foul play will be stopped from posting there events on here.

I am sure butty will reply to that mate but let me explain. The threads you say are frozen are from promoters that pay something towards the boards up keep. I am sure if you want to contribute he will allow your posts to be stuck. Its something thats been done for quite some time now bud.

the post was a notice for all promoters that visit the forum. if it was something i just had to say to you i would have pm'd you or emailed ya mate.

i have one set of rules on here and that is right across the board for everybody, some of your posts was deleted as imo you was having a unfair go at another member over a subject that should be left to the mods and admins to deal with not another member.

if we feel that any promoter is dissing another night for whatever reason for his personal gain then we deal with it, always have done and always will do.

as for the sticky posts they are available for promoters who would like to contribute to the forum in the form of cash money. after all the service that we provide is a free one, we have to pay for our servers. if you would be interested in some paid advertising for our site feel free to get in touch mate and we can discuss things.

as for what it goes towards, well the server osa is on costs me personally £80 a month. promoters make money off this site. which im cool about. but i expect them to follow guidelines i set out for the free service i provide.

if you dont like the way our system works buddy simply dont post your events here. i dont force anybody too

as i was involved with this i think i should have my say (again maybe but still reqd) - said comments were against another promoter who publicly dissed another rival event to try and gain some unseen advantage. this 'promoter' has since sent pm's of a personal nature taking this 'discussion' to a higher level.

mods need to be un-biased imo and this does not seem to be happening.

at the same time as this some promoters are members who do join in on the board in the general banter etc. and so there entitled to a personal opinion on something just like everyone else is to a certain extent.

the post actually had in capitals on it IMO. the other event he isnt even confirmed as playing yet and it isnt his night that is there. oh and its also free and in a diffrent town. and because of this and because the post didnt go on it was jus a simple opinion then we didnt feel as tho the post was dissin another night for his own personal gain. if we did think that this was the case we would have dealt with it.

the event is confirmed and it is in the same town on the same night - hands up its your site and you and the mods decide whats right and what isnt but if you check my posts on that event i wasnt dissin anyone i was just havin my opinion (IMO) and the fact that this wasnt agreed with by the other party caused them to get personal. if i dont agree with somet then i'll speak out.

in your first reply on that post you aint talkin about the event that the post is about. your doing what the post was cleaned up for. having a go at another member when it isnt ur place to do so.

how is this so? that is the stance i take for everyone on this forum. i would have done exactly the same if it would have been anyone else. and so i aint too sure how this can be biased?

of course each case is diffrent but il do what i think is right on here as that is my job. if you think that im biased then that is cool. i dont expect everyone to agree with me all the time.

any situation like this i always get other mods/admins opinion on the issue. as at the end of the day one persons view can be wrong sometimes i respect that. the mods n admins i got on here have been on here for years, they have dealt with every sort of issue and predicement you could ever possibly imagine. i trust there judgement and theyl say what they think to me if they agree with me or not.

at the end of the day its a free service this place. promoters should be thankful of this and trust me to control this scenario. its like me going into one of your houses and complaining that the brew u made me out of the goodness of ya own heart is w@nk

Can I just say that I paid to have the substance one's stickied and thought it was well worth it.

As for the arguments, whats the point? it's not worth getting wound up over and I would know about this.
